Terms of Use
Sales terms, refunds, payments, and website use. Effective October 11, 2026.
1. Who sells on this website
This website is published by Dr. Robert M. Rasha Jr. Books, digital products, and merchandise purchased directly on this website are sold, invoiced, and processed by AquilaNera Global, LLC (“AquilaNera Global,” “we,” or “us”). AquilaNera Global, LLC is the seller of record for those orders, and your payment, receipt, and invoice will show that name or a variation of it.
Purchases made on Amazon (for example, the Kindle edition or a single paperback bought through an Amazon button on this site) are sold by Amazon and are governed by Amazon’s terms and policies, not these terms.
By placing an order or using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.
2. Payments and card security
Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”), our authorized payment processor. When you pay by card you are taken to a secure checkout hosted by Stripe. Your card number, expiration date, security code, and bank details are entered on Stripe’s systems and go directly to Stripe.
- We do not see, receive, or store your full card number, security code, or bank account details on this website or our servers.
- Stripe is certified as a PCI DSS Level 1 service provider, the highest level of certification in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. Because card data is handled by Stripe and not by us, this website is designed to keep our own PCI DSS scope to a minimum.
- What Stripe collects and how it uses it is described in Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy at stripe.com/legal and stripe.com/privacy.
- Stripe may also share limited payment information (such as the last four digits of your card, the card brand, and a payment reference) with us so we can confirm your order and answer questions about it.
3. Prices, taxes, and shipping
All prices are in U.S. dollars. The price you see when you check out is the price you pay for the items shown. We may change prices at any time, but a change does not affect an order you have already placed. We may correct an obvious pricing error and, if we do, we will contact you before shipping and give you the choice to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Sales tax and other applicable taxes are added where the law requires, based on the shipping address you provide, and are shown at checkout or on your invoice. Shipping charges, where they apply, are shown at checkout or on your invoice before you pay.
Physical items ship to the address you enter at checkout. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Please check your address carefully, because we cannot be responsible for an order delivered to the address you supplied. Risk of loss for a physical item passes to you when it is delivered to that address.
4. Digital products
Digital books, whitepapers, and guides are delivered by email or a download link, usually right after payment or sign-up. Please make sure your email address is correct and check your spam folder. If you do not receive your item, contact us and we will resend it.
Digital products are licensed to you for your own personal or internal organizational use. You may not copy, resell, share publicly, or distribute them. Some items are free; a free item may require your email address, which we use to deliver it (see our Privacy Policy).
5. Final sales and refunds
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or give refunds or exchanges for change of mind, ordering the wrong item, or duplicate purchases, except as stated in this section or as required by law. This policy is disclosed before you pay, as California law requires.
Problems must be reported right away. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, if you did not receive a digital item, or if you were charged incorrectly, you must contact us immediately and no later than 7 days after delivery (or, for a digital item, 7 days after purchase). Tell us your name, the email used for the order, your order number, and what is wrong. Photos of damaged items help. After we confirm the problem we will, at our choice, replace the item, resend it, or refund you. Refunds go back to the original form of payment through Stripe and can take several business days to appear.
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer so that we can resolve the problem quickly.
Nothing in this section limits any right you have under California law or other law that cannot be waived, including rights relating to defective goods and billing errors.
6. Bulk orders and purchase orders
Organizations can order paperbacks in bulk online. A bulk order can be paid by card at checkout, or you can submit a purchase order. A purchase order is a request to be invoiced; it is not a payment. After we receive it we will confirm it and send an invoice to the billing contact you provide, stating the amount due and payment terms (our standard terms are shown at the time you submit the order). Books on a purchase-order order are shipped after the invoice has been paid. Bulk and purchase-order sales are final under “Final sales and refunds” above, and an order that is reported damaged or incorrect within the time stated in that section will be replaced or refunded.
We may decline or cancel a purchase order, for example if we cannot verify the buyer or the shipping address. If we cancel before shipping, we will refund any amount already paid.
7. Using this website
You may browse this website and buy from it for lawful purposes. Please do not misuse it, for example by attempting to break or overload it, probing it for weaknesses without permission, submitting false orders or information, or using automated tools to scrape or submit forms. We may block access or cancel an order that appears fraudulent or abusive. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we do not control and are not responsible for them.
8. Copyright and trademarks
The books, articles, guides, webinars, photographs, logos, and other content on this website are protected by copyright and other laws and are owned by Dr. Robert M. Rasha Jr. or used with permission. Buying a book or digital product gives you the product, not the right to copy or republish it. You may quote short excerpts for review, commentary, or education with credit to the author, as fair use allows. Any other use requires written permission.
9. Disclaimer
Books, articles, guides, and webinars on this website are for general information and education. They are not legal, accounting, tax, financial, or professional security advice, and reading or using them does not create a consulting, attorney-client, or other professional relationship. Cybersecurity risk depends on each organization’s circumstances; we cannot guarantee that following any guidance will prevent an incident or produce a particular result. Please consult a qualified professional about your situation. Content may become out of date.
The website and its content are provided “as is,” to the fullest extent the law allows.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AquilaNera Global, LLC and Dr. Robert M. Rasha Jr. are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of this website or a product bought here. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some laws do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in this page excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under California law, including for fraud, willful injury, or violation of law (Civil Code § 1668), or any statutory consumer right that cannot be waived.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute about an order or about this website are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. Any claim that is not resolved will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, except that you keep any right the law gives you to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction and to use small claims court.
12. Contact and changes
For orders, refunds, privacy requests, or any question about these terms, please use our contact form and choose “Something Else.” Include your name, the email address used for the order, and your order number if you have one. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. An order is governed by the version in effect when it was placed.
