Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we never store, and your choices. Effective October 11, 2026.
1. Privacy: what we collect and how we use it
What we collect. Information you give us when you place an order, request a consultation, submit a purchase order, or ask for a free download: for example your name, email address, phone number, organization, shipping and billing address, order details, purchase-order number, and anything you write in a message. Our website also handles basic technical information, such as your IP address, when you use a form, so that we can prevent spam and abuse. Your shopping cart is kept in your own browser until you check out.
What we do not collect or store. We do not store payment card numbers, security codes, or bank details (see the payments section of our Terms of Use). We do not create customer accounts or keep passwords for shoppers.
What we keep. We keep the limited order and contact information needed to fulfill and support your order, send invoices and receipts, handle refunds, and meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Messages from forms are delivered to us by email. We keep this information only as long as we need it for those purposes or the law requires.
How we use it. To process and ship orders, deliver digital items, respond to you, send invoices and order emails, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with the law. If you tick the box to receive updates, we also send occasional articles and announcements; every such email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. A marketing opt-in is never required to buy or to receive a free item.
Who we share it with. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and fill your order, for example Stripe (payments), our web hosting and email delivery providers, and shipping carriers, and when required by law or to protect our rights. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us.
Third-party content. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, and webinar videos load from YouTube only when you press play. Those services may receive technical information such as your IP address under their own privacy policies. We do not run advertising trackers on this website.
Security. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children. This website is intended for adults and organizations and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
2. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) may give you the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request a copy of it; request that we correct or delete it, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax purposes); and not be treated differently for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the law, so there is nothing to opt out of.
To make a request, contact us using the contact details at the end of this policy and include the email address you used with us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and an authorized agent may submit a request for you with your written permission. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83), we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. This website does not track visitors across other websites, so there is no cross-site tracking for a “Do Not Track” signal to turn off.
3. Contact and changes
For privacy questions or requests, please use our contact form and choose “Something Else.” Include your name and the email address used for the order or request.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Terms that apply to purchases are in our Terms of Use.
